PEDIATRIC NEUROPSYCHOLOGIST

Rebecca Tubbs, PsyD

My journey to becoming a pediatric neuropsychologist started at Phillips Academy in Andover, MA where I took my first psychology course as a senior. I graduated from Connecticut College with a double major in psychology and philosophy, and, while earning my Master’s Degree at Loyola College, I worked as a Lovaas Behavior Therapist and undertook two separate internships at Johns Hopkins University. As part of my doctoral degree program at Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology (renamed William James College in 2015), I completed a year-round pre-doctoral internship at Franciscan’s Hospital in Brighton, MA, where I worked on both medical and ART units, as well as completed a full year rotation in pediatric neuropsychology, providing both assessments and behavioral consultations. After earning my doctorate degree, I embarked on a rigorous post-doctoral fellowship program. Over the course of my professional training and work experiences, I have been strongly child-focused, working with preschoolers through young adults across both in- and out-patient settings, and always with a passion for opening doors to possibility.

Let’s get started.
